Refund Policy

Children’s Cancer Research Fund (“CCRF”) considers all donations to be nonrefundable. However, we recognize that mistakes happen. CCRF will consider refund requests, only if submitted in writing and within the timelines listed below, for donations made using the www.childrenscancer.org website or any website owned by Children’s Cancer Research Fund.

Refund requests pertaining to unrestricted donations (“General contributions”) must be received within 60 (sixty) days of the original donation. In the event such a refund request is made regarding a donation from the previous year, the request must be made within either 60 (sixty) days of the original donation or by February 1st, whichever is sooner.

Refund requests pertaining to donations restricted to a particular fund must be received within 30 (thirty) days of the original donation. In the event such a refund request is made regarding a donation from the previous year, the request must be made within either 30 (thirty) days of the original donation or by February 1st, whichever is sooner.

To request a refund, email contact@childrenscancer.org or mail a letter to 1650 W 82nd St, Suite 400, Bloomington, MN 55431. You must provide the name of the donor, email and/or address, date and amount of donation, payment details such as last 4 digits of credit card, and reason for requesting a refund (e.g., duplicate, intended for another organization, etc.).

You can expect a confirmation notice within 2 (two) business days, which will ask for further details, if necessary. A written decision notice will be provided within 14 (fourteen) days stating CCRF’s decision and an expected disbursement date if a refund is granted.

Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. For example, if the donation was made by credit card, the refund will be credited to that same card. The donor is responsible for all tax considerations that may arise if the donation is refunded.
